The Hopland Sho-Ka-Wah Casino is seeking a talented, motivated individual to accept the position of General Manager. Administrative direction is provided by the Tribal Council; responsibilities include the direct oversight of the gaming enterprises for the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians; operates the gaming enterprise to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity.

Collaborates with Tribal Council in developing and managing the annual business plan and long range strategic planning. This position ensures compliance with Gaming policies and procedures and with the laws, policies, and ordinances of the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians (HBPI) and Hopland Gaming Commission (HGC).

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record which demonstrates a keen understanding of tribal gaming enterprise issues, strong management skills, outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively lead, be visible and to develop and maintain effective relationships in the Tribal community and the gaming enterprise is critical. Prior experience must include facilities operations, casino management, property development/Renovation and new construction.

Qualifications: BA/BS, MA preferred in Finance, Business Administration/Management or related field and/or 10+ yrs exp. In Executive/Senior Management experience, including five (5) years or more in a similar size gaming enterprise. Valid CA D.L., strong PC skills, superior oral and written communication skills.
